No doubt the inspiration for this question comes from the fact that the resort straddles Chalk Creek and its productive rainbow and brown trout fishery. But in fact, our property is situated not just on a beautiful trout stream but amid Colorado’s most popular fishery, the Arkansas River, and the greatest concentration of creek fishing and high elevation lakes in the state. One could spend an entire season fishing from the resort and never step in the same water twice – except for our hot spring pools each evening!
