Surf Colorado! Our stand up paddle programs can help you catch a wave in Colorado. We also offer flatwater basics for beginners as well as river running. The RMOC paddle school is nationally recognized in paddle sports instruction. ACA certified instructors are excited to introduce you to this popular water activity. We offer group courses as well as private instruction. All equipment is included. A southwest style lunch is provided on all full day courses.

Stand Up Paddle-boarding is a relatively new sport that simply involves standing on a surf board with a long paddle and paddling your way around the water. Stand up Paddleboards may be made of fiberglass, wood and some are even inflatable.

This new sport is taking the water by storm. Stand Up Paddle-boarding is the fastest growing? paddle sport ever. Stand up paddle boarding can be done by almost anyone almost anywhere, just add water.

Colorado is a great place to try Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is in the heart of it all. In the Arkansas River valley there is of course the Arkansas River with whitewater parks in Buena Vista and in Salida. Stand Up Paddle Boarding on the river may be a bit advanced for most but it is fun to watch the experienced paddlers surf the waves in the whitewater parks. CKS offers Stand Up Paddleboards for rent. You may try this new sport at the town pond at Mcphelemy Park right in the town of Buena Vista.

If you are out for a scenic day trip adventure or would like to try fishing from a Stand Up Paddle Board, try Clear Creek Reservoir, Twin Lakes Reservoir, Chalk Lake or Cottonwood Lake.
